Wanting to go green after the holidays, no pun intended? It's all about recycling and you can even get rid of that pumpkin still sitting in your front yard (ok, maybe not YOUR front yard, but my next door neighbor's front yard for sure).
Texas Disposal Systems will recycle your tree, holly and pumpkins free of charge. Through January 31, you can drop off Christmas trees at Garden-ville locations on Evans Road or the Converse location. Make sure your tree is free of decorations. It also needs to be tied and secured, or you will be charged a fee.
Evans Rd location: Mon-Friday 7 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
Converse Location: Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
