Whataburger decided to get in on the Homecoming craze and make themselves a mum. Not just any mum either. This one is 18 feet tall and 6 feet wide! It's part of the Arlington's Museum of Art's “MUMENTOUS: The Upsizing of a Texas Tradition” exhibit, where dozens of other high school homecoming mums reside.
In order to make it this particular mum they used: 1,250 flower heads, 50 drink cups,100 fry containers, 300 feet of ribbon, 80 bracelets and key chains, and 65 feet of feathered fringe.
The ‘Whatamum’ is on display until October 19th. Attendees will be able to take pictures with the mum and enter to win free Whataburger for a year.
