We have a big problem with people dumping trash illegally. Neighborhood leaders are teaming up to get rid of the problem. And be aware, there are a lot of cameras watching where people usually dump illegally.
But Saturday you can dump legally. And it's all for FREE! You can dump your large trash items off Saturday, March 17th from 8am-12pm at 7627 SW Military Drive.
Collected items include: appliances, furniture, lumber, mattresses, shrubs, tree limbs, water heaters, and tires.
Items that will not be collected include: bricks, chemicals, concrete, oil, pesticides, soil and sod.
Now if you've driven along Culebra Road between Loop 1604 and Tezzle, you've probably noticed mounting trash. Saturday, March 24th is when teams will clean up along Culebra. And any and all volunteers are welcome.
